According to Ben Aflec, Justice League has a More Familiar Batman
When Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice released in theaters, it featured a Batman that was darker than the casual fan was accustomed to, played by Ben Affleck. His portrayal of the Caped Crusader was much more akin to the mood set in the graphic novel "The Dark Knight Returns", featuring a darker more syndical Batman. For fans hoping to see a more conventional Masked Detective in Justice League, you're in luck, because Ben Affleck revealed in a new interview that fans will not be disappointed when the movie hits theaters November 17.
“This is more the Batman you would find if you opened up your average Batman comic book,” actor says,
in an interview with The Wrap. Aflec went on to say, “This is more in keeping with the canon of how Batman’s usually been portrayed, and how he’s portrayed vis a vis the ‘Justice League’ in the comics. This is more the Batman you would find if you opened up your average Batman comic book. Not that it’s average,” he added.
Affleck further explained that the upcoming movie will be very different from “Batman v Superman:” “I think it’s a really cool story. Actually, it’s sort of a story about multilateralism. It’s not a bad theme to have!”
So with all the talk about Joss Whedon's re shoots after the film had wrapped and this fresher look at the Dark Knioght what do you think we are in store for with Justice League? Mor of the same, or something we can really sink our teeth into.
